The 2024 "Bridge to Entrepreneurship" Overseas Talent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Invitational, hosted in Changzhou, has concluded, with 15 standout projects taking home first, second, and third prizes.
Since its launch in June, the competition has attracted 165 talent-driven projects from across the globe through an online application platform, supported by the Dual Innovation Service Platform for High-Level and Overseas Talent. Following rigorous evaluations and expert reviews, 30 projects advanced to the final stage. The entries spanned a range of cutting-edge industries, including new energy, advanced materials, high-end manufacturing, information technology, energy conservation, environmental protection, biopharmaceuticals, commercial space, and the low-altitude economy.
During the finals, participants presented their projects through virtual presentations and Q&A sessions. A panel of experts evaluated the proposals, considering Changzhou's innovation policies, the Changzhou Talent Program, and the city's specific needs for talent integration before selecting the winning entries.
Now in its 20th year, the "Bridge to Entrepreneurship" competition has become a hallmark of Changzhou’s overseas talent recruitment efforts. It serves as a key platform for supporting overseas Chinese professionals and international students in returning to China to drive innovation and launch entrepreneurial ventures.
