On May 26, Cao Hongming, vice chairman of the Central Committee of China Zhi Gong Party (CZGP), led a delegation to Changzhou.
The delegation visited Jiangsu Smart Energy Innovation Center for NEVs (Innoenergy), Changzhou Tianzheng Industrial Development Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Tianhui Institute of Space Information.
They were accompanied by Ma Jianguo, chairman of CZGP Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Zhou Bin, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee, Liang Yibo, executive vice mayor of Changzhou, and Jiang Pengju, chairman of CZGP Changzhou Municipal Committee.
Ranking the tenth among cities in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region and the third in Jiangsu province as per the YRD Digital Economy Index Report 2019, Changzhou plays an essential role in the region’s supply chain transformation for a digital economy.
Cao Hongming, impressed with how Changzhou has been building its capacity in the digital economy, encouraged the city to sustain a competitive advantage in digital supply chain development through improved infrastructure, better administration, and more cooperation with other cities in the region.
Founded in 1925, the CZGP is mainly comprised of overseas Chinese who have returned to the mainland, relatives of nationals living abroad as well as those with close connections with overseas Chinese.
