The 55 projects focus on smart manufacturing and emerging industries. They include large-investment programs in high-tech manufacturing industry, projects with good growth outlook in strategic emerging industries and featured platforms with good comprehensive benefits. Among them, there are 23 projects in smart manufacturing equipment, 9 in new-generation information technology, 4 in new energy vehicles and core automotive parts, 4 in medicine and biological technology, 7 new-material projects, 6 modern service projects, 1 new energy project and 1 smart grid project.
As pointed out by Deputy Mayor and Party Secretary of CPC Wujin District Committee Li Lin, this year, Changzhou has set the target to make breakthroughs in major projects. As a result, Wujin district government will gear up efforts in innovation, introduce resources to enterprises, and improve the quality and efficiency of government service. The construction in the first quarter should be a good start to initiate more pioneering projects. In particular, the district should grasp a new round of development opportunity in IC industry, by improving designing, manufacturing and packaging abilities, to nurture an industrial chain with competitiveness in Jiangsu and in China.
