The 2nd EV Charging Infrastructure Innovation Conference was held in Changzhou on August 4 and 5. Sponsored by the E-mobility and Energy Storage Branch of the China Electricity Council (CEC) and the Committee for Standardization of EV Charging Facilities in The Energy Industry, the event is organized by Wanbang Digital Energy Co., Ltd. (Star Charge).
This year's conference focused on the technical pain points and progress in the field of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, and invited experts, scholars, and business leaders to share their achievements and opinions on product iteration, technological innovation, standard formulation, green energy trading, and so on.
At the conference, more than 30 experts, scholars and corporate R&D leaders from CEC, State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), Sinopec, and other institutions and enterprises, had discussions on the development of EVs and its charging infrastructure, integration of EVs and smart grids, charging safety, and other topics.
The deployment of charging infrastructure is the prerequisite for the spread of electric vehicles. As the host city of this conference, Changzhou's new energy industry gains strong momentum, featured with the entire EV value chain and ecosystem. In the first half of 2022, the output value of Changzhou's EV industry cluster exceeded 110 billion yuan.
Qiao Junjie, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and secretary of the CPC Wujin District Committee, attended the event and delivered a speech.
