On March 18, a demo show on Israel’s advanced auto technologies was held online with a focus on autonomous vehicles.
The event was hosted by the Commerce Department of the Consulate of Israel in Shanghai and the Foreign Trade Department of Israel’s Ministry of Economy and Industry. It was co-organized by China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park (CICP) and Israel Export Institute (IEI), and sponsored by China Automotive Technology & Research Center.
Five Israeli self-driving car companies presented their products and technologies. About 20 Chinese enterprises attended the event virtually.
Following the demo was a B2B matchmaking event, during which some companies expressed their intent for cooperation.
Niv Hanan, economic consul of Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai, Karin Chen, chairman of IEI, and Li Lei, deputy mayor of Wujin District, Changzhou and director of the CICP Administration Office, spoke at the event.
