On the morning of January 19, Changzhou National High-Tech District (CND) and Shanghai United Imaging Healthcare Co., Ltd. (UIH) signed a 3 billion yuan contract to construct UIH’s second-phase project in Changzhou.
Before the signing ceremony, Liang Yibo, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and executive vice mayor of Changzhou Municipal People’s Government, met with UIH’s delegation headed by its COB & CEO Dr. Xue Min.
UIH’s Changzhou facility in CND has achieved high-quality development over the years, said Liang, marking that the company was among the first to send medical equipment to Wuhan during the first wave of COVID-19 last year. He said that the CPC Changzhou Municipal Committee and the Municipal Government will continue to support businesses in Changzhou by providing better platforms and services.
Dr. Xue praised Changzhou for its competitive advantage in terms of geographical location, industrial strength and business environment, stating that UIH will continue to expand its investment and development in Changzhou.

In 2020, UIH’s Changzhou facility achieved sales of 992 million yuan, paying 130 million in taxes.
