On November 22, the Sino-Japanese Intelligent Manufacturing Conference 2022 was held in Changzhou, at which the Sino-Japanese (Changzhou) Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park unveiled its plaque.
The park is situated in Changzhou National High-Tech District (CND), among the clusters with the most Japanese investors in the Yangtze River Delta (YRD) region. Ever since its construction in September 2020, the park has gathered over 150 Japanese-funded enterprises, with investments surpassing 3 billion US dollars.
These investors include some of the Fortune 500 companies such as Bridgestone, Komatsu, Sumitomo Electric, and THK.
As of this update, Changzhou has 627 Japanese-funded companies specializing in intelligent equipment, precision machinery, electronics, electrical, auto parts, clothing, and many other sectors.
Last year, Changzhou’s goods and services trade with Japan totaled 3.9 billion US dollars, a 17.1-percent increase over 2020.
